Singing in a choir in a confined space is considered a high-risk activity. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND OUR MEMBERS BE FULLY VACCINATED. We rely on you to apply a common sense approach, so please DO NOT ATTEND REHEARSALS if you are suffering from cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, coughing, sore throat, or shortness of breath. Face masks are optional, unless advised otherwise.
COMMITMENT
Please consider carefully the time you will commit to Vox Harmony before you submit your application. We ask our members to commit to attending rehearsals each week, and we expect that people will practise at home and know their own part; this is not only out of respect to the choir, to Denise and your fellow choristers, but to yourself. Our voice is our instrument, a little practice every day makes a huge difference.
ATTENDANCE
We are a performance choir, not a weekly sing-along choir, so availability for performances is also expected, especially for Council performance such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, as we take our standing as the City of Launceston Choir very seriously.
If you've missed several rehearsals, you may need to demonstrate that a lack of preparation will not compromise the overall performance of the choir. If your preparation is deemed unsatisfactory, you may be asked not to perform.

MEMBERSHIP PERIOD - 31 January to 12 December 2023
After submitting the form below, you will receive a confirmation email and membership takes effect after you have paid your full membership fee, before 31st January 2023. Original sheet music will only be provided to fully paid up members.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, a payment plan may be organised with the Treasurer. Please contact the Treasurer at treasurer@voxharmony.org.au for a confidential arrangement.
New members who choose not to stay after their initial 3 weeks' trial, will have their money refunded at the end of February.

FIRST REHEARSAL
We have decided to split up the first rehearsal dates for new and returning members. Rehearsals are at The Salvation Army Church, 111 Elizabeth Street, Launceston.
New Members: 31 January, 2023
Returning Members: 7 February 2023
